The interview process consisted of a phone screen followed by a "technical discussion" on the phone.
The phone screen involved a simple, medium-level LeetCode question, which was not a problem.
The "technical discussion" on the phone was deeply disappointing. The interviewer asked vague questions, provided no clarity on the evaluation criteria, and asked me to describe a project of my choice. After I spoke for 18 minutes about how I resolved ambiguity and created significant value, they stated they were looking for something different. The interviewer was clearly untrained in conducting a meaningful phone interview.
Subsequently, the recruiter informed me that I was not a good fit for the role, without providing any feedback.
This experience was a waste of time.
