TLDR: A recruiter ghosted me halfway through the process and won’t even respond to emails anymore.

I applied for an EM role, and a recruiter set up a call. She was about 10 minutes late to call me. On the call, I got the sense she might be overloaded. She said she’d take all my information to the hiring manager and get back to me in a couple of days.

A week went by, and I received no email from her. I followed up, and she said they'd like to move forward with a technical screen with Karat.

I completed the screening and waited a week to hear back but didn’t. So, I followed up again. She apologized for not getting back sooner and said she’d have an update for me the next day.

Two weeks went by, and still no email from her. I sent another follow-up email a week ago, and she still hasn’t responded.

Please don’t waste candidates’ time if you aren’t going to follow through with them.

The technical screen has a code review component and a coding component. They’re both fairly easy if you know how to spot patterns in questions.
