The hiring manager reached out to me directly, and we spoke briefly about the company. Subsequently, I was contacted by a recruiter who arranged a technical screening with a third-party firm.
This stage was quite easy. I appreciated the flexibility and weekend options for scheduling. It involved general project/tech questions and one coding exercise.
After that, I was invited to a half-day onsite interview where I met with several people on the panel. Everyone was really friendly, and I had a number of very meaningful conversations. I had the opportunity to ask plenty of questions to better understand how the company and team operate.
Finally, I received another invitation for an executive round, where I met with the VP and CEO. This was another pleasant day, with me engaging in conversations and asking questions rather than feeling questioned or 'grilled'.
A variety of coding and leadership questions.
