Pros: Learning Opportunities – Exposure to new technologies and hands-on experience in software development. Mentorship – Guidance from senior engineers to improve technical skills and career growth. Career Growth – Potential for promotions and salary increases as skills develop. Collaborative Environment – Opportunity to work in a team setting and gain valuable teamwork experience. Competitive Salary & Benefits – Many companies offer good compensation, health insurance, and other perks. Diverse Work Experience – Exposure to different aspects of software development, from coding to testing.

Cons: ❌ Steep Learning Curve – May require extra effort to keep up with fast-paced projects and new technologies. ❌ Limited Decision-Making Power – Junior engineers often have less influence on project decisions. ❌ Tight Deadlines – Pressure to meet deadlines, which can be stressful at times. ❌ Potential for Overtime – Some companies may expect long hours, especially during crunch periods. ❌ Entry-Level Salary – Compensation may be lower compared to more experienced roles. ❌ Task Repetition – Some roles may involve repetitive or less challenging tasks initially.

Pros: Passionate employees and a positive business outlook. Most of the interesting problems one might solve as an engineer here are still up for grabs. Personal initiative to snag that one cool project is rewarded, and I feel my manager and director are investing heavily in my career success. CEO and VPs are very open to company-scale feedback, and even as a relatively new person, my input has been taken seriously and often acted on immediately. I've been able to have a major effect on the company's direction. It has been a great place to get my career started.

Cons: We're growing as a company, and the organizational changes keep you on your toes. What was once tribal knowledge among tens of devs has had to be taught to hundreds.

Pros: - Salary is above market average.

Cons: No way to break into management. Was told that they only hire from outside. RTO policy is ridiculous, especially if they keep talking about inventing the "future of remote work".
