I was contacted by a recruiter on LinkedIn.

After a quick introductory call, a phone screen was set up with their providers who conduct screenings for them. The phone screen involved a discussion about my previous experience, followed by a URL parsing code challenge.

I did solve the challenge within the given time, but I wasn't using the trie data structure, which the interviewer probably expected. Therefore, my solution was likely sub-optimal. Despite this, I believe I performed well enough to move to the onsite interview.

Since I wasn't contacted after the phone screen and they didn't respond to my follow-up email, I conclude that Roblox is disrespectful towards candidates. It takes so little effort to inform a person about a decision, yet this attitude persists. It's sad.
