I applied through the recruiter and took the Karat screening interview. The interviewer was quite professional and helpful.

After discussing my experience, I was asked to attempt coding problems for 45 minutes.

I solved the first one and almost finished coding for the second one, but the interviewer asked me to stop as time expired. She told me that all progress until then would be taken into consideration, but this kind of rigid time limit sounded ridiculous.

I gave them feedback that it might result in subjective judgment about a good candidate. They responded that they would consider this for improvement. Waiting for the result now.
