Process
Roblox hires a third-party company to conduct the "phone" screening interview. I joked whether it would be acceptable if I also hired a third party to take the interview for me.
Thinking about that lately, the approach feels too impersonal. After the interview, the hiring manager and engineers watch the interview recording only and make a decision. This process is very impersonal.
It allows people who are good at acting to shine, and on the other hand, it drives introverted engineers into a hole. It's a fact that good engineers are generally introverted.
All this hints that the company might be a bit careless about capturing the best talent on the market.
Questions
