A recruiter from Roblox reached out to me on LinkedIn, and I then had a phone call with them to learn about the company and position.
After passing the Karat coding phone interview, I had a chat with the hiring manager over the phone. This was mostly me asking the manager questions about the team and company.
Later, I received a rejection email stating, "We do not currently have a role that matches your skills and experience."
The interview process felt like a waste of time. I wish they had let me know earlier to save both sides' time if there was no match, especially after I clearly explained my skills and experience during the initial phone call with the recruiter.
I sent a follow-up email to the recruiter asking why I was rejected, but I never received a reply.
Easy coding question with multiple follow-ups.
