A very easy platform to develop and market upon, making otherwise niche game projects financially viable. Due to the structure of the platform, you can essentially function as an "Non-Employee Contractor" and receive payment out from your games.
It can be difficult to grow a user base over time, with a lackluster discovery system. There are also often engine updates that present major issues to existing and new projects alike, requiring constant upkeep on even end-of-life games to keep them functional.
I would strongly advise better communication with developers and a stronger focus on supporting and maintaining legacy systems to prevent breaking previous and ongoing projects.
