Only one technical round. It was with two of their current software developers.
I was expecting a general software engineering interview, including system design, algorithm implementation, or at least something close to that. But the interview was all about how to do certain things in JavaScript, which I barely have any experience with.
They really need to change their job title to "Front End Engineer" instead of "Software Engineer," which is rather confusing.
Questions
Design and develop a table UI module in Javascript.
Share screen, show the implementing process, and prove the implementation is correct.
