Process
Intro call with a recruiter. Next steps were going to be technical and behavioral interviews.
Before those were scheduled, the recruiter called me to let me know they were switching to a new take-home format in the interest of better inclusion practices.
I then received an email with a 48-hour deadline to complete an interview on filtered.ai. The process involved:
- Installing a spyware browser extension to act as a proctor.
- Recording video answers to some behavioral questions.
- A coding assignment.
- Another video recording to explain the coding answer.
The whole thing felt farcical, and to have it sold as something beneficial to candidates when it was clearly just a time saver for them was ridiculous.
