Pros: Annual bonus, amazing PTO, and health and other insurances are comparable.

Cons: Low 401k matches and small raises

Pros: Good work life balance and good benefits.

Cons: A lot of leaders and managers have low technical understanding.

Pros: Mortgage discount for first-time homebuyers.

Cons: They keep changing and cutting benefits, and when announced, phrase it as if it’s better. It’s not, it’s way below standard. - PTO: they recently cut 1 week from everyone, choosing an increase in 401K matching because they said this is what employees wanted. For those that have been here 5-10 years, you get 5 weeks PTO (sick and vacation combined!). Pray you or your family don’t get sick often or you can say goodbye to your vacation. They’re finding more and more ways to maximize your working time for their own profits. It’s clear they don’t value work/life balance. - Holidays: they JUST gave the day after Thanksgiving off to “compensate” for the PTO change. Additionally there is no President’s Day, no Christmas Eve (this alone should already tell you a lot), no NYE off. - Healthcare: when my company got acquired by Rocket, my healthcare cost doubled.
