I interviewed with Rubrik through the on-campus internship drive at IIT Kanpur. The process was entirely online due to the COVID pandemic, yet it was very smooth. There were three rounds in all.
The first two rounds included a live coding segment on a shared coding platform. Both the interviewer and I had our video on for these rounds.
The third round was a managerial one, and it was the best interview I've had in the past couple of months. I was asked about one of my projects, and the discussion then shifted towards behavioral questions. I was asked general questions about working in a team and a collaborative environment.
Finally, I received an offer. Yay!
The technical questions were Medium to Hard level.
The question in my first interview was about Dynamic Programming and a mix of decreasing subsequences.
The second round had a question on Binary Search. As expected, the Binary Search solution wasn't obvious at first.
How would you handle very different suggestions while working in a collaborative environment?
