About 7-8 weeks after applying online on Salesforce's site, I was contacted for an interview with the Salesforce Metamind team, which is a great group for NLP and deep learning (socher.org).
Dr. Caiming Xiong from the team conducted my interview (via Skype), and I was offered the role officially 4-5 days after the interview.
