Full Stack Engineer Interview Experience - Hyderābād, India
Process
For the position of Full Stack Engineer (Java), I had four rounds of technical interviews. All four rounds were conducted on Google Meet, as all the interviewers were based out of San Francisco. They asked questions covering architecture, performance, Java, and design problems.
After the fourth round, I received feedback that the process went well and that one final technical round was left to be scheduled.
However, after a couple of months, when I inquired about the final round, the manager stated that the position had been closed. This was a very bad experience.
Looking at the email for the position closure, it seems the manager was not aware if they really needed someone or not, and had wasted their time and mine.
