The whole process went smoothly for me. I was lucky to work with a great recruiter who organized the process really well. My messages were replied to very quickly, and all interviews started on time. I met with interesting people who asked relevant questions. The whole process, from my first reply to the offer, took less than 3 weeks.

I went through 3 rounds of interviews:

• Phone screening - About 45 minutes, where we mostly talked about my experience. I also got a chance to ask my interviewer questions and gained a very good picture of what the team is working on and what skills they are looking for.
• Online Coding Interview - Interviewed by the SF team. I received the coding task about 30 minutes before the interview started. I had 2 hours to write a working program in a language of my choice (I chose Java) and send the results back.
• Onsite Interview in Tampa, FL - A set of panel interviews by the Community Cloud team.

Behavioral questions: "Tell me about a time when you..."

Database questions: Document-based vs. relational, transactions.

System Design questions: Architect a backend for a system that can handle a billion messages daily.

Design questions.

Various coding challenges to test algorithms knowledge, complexity estimation, design patterns, as well as coding abilities (whiteboard coding).
