1. Dropped resume at a career fair early in the school year.

2. Got contacted about a Google Meet interview approximately a month after step 1.

3. Had an interview the day before winter break. Standard questions about the company, my projects (since I didn't have any prior work/internship experience), and one technical question. The technical question was related to building some kind of custom memory data object. I could choose any language, and I went with Java.

4. Didn't hear back for over a month (due to the holiday season). Got contacted for a second Google Meet interview about one to two weeks into the second semester. I did send a follow-up email prior to this by about a week; I have no idea if they were related.

5. Had the second Google Meet interview. It was the same procedure as the last interview. We talked about the company, my projects, and one technical question. The technical question was algorithmic, and I noticed it had to do with memoization/dynamic programming. I solved the problem in three steps: 1) brute-force, 2) recursion, 3) memoization/dynamic programming. This seemed to be exactly what my interviewer was looking for.

6. Two days later, I got my offer.

Talk about the most technically challenging part of any project you worked on.
