Pros: - Worked very closely with my team, delivering work directly applicable to the team on a very customer-facing product as an intern. - Had lots of opportunity to hear from the CEO and executives. - Received monthly Fridays off for wellness plus $100 monthly reimbursements for wellness activities. - Good salary. - Relaxed deadlines and no "grinding" or "tech bro" culture. - Received lots of swag. - Experienced lots of clarity about expectations and how to reach them. - Received lots of support from recruiters and the intern team. - Everyone is super nice, friendly, and open about feedback and helping you. - Even though I failed to get an offer from one team, my recruiter passed my information to another team where I received an offer.

Cons: The smallest con: since I started in June, a lot of the intern events happened in the beginning and more in May. So, at around the halfway mark, there wasn't a lot of engagement from the intern team.

Pros: Salary and benefits are good, although promised training may not materialize, or they may refuse to hire enough staff to cover for training leave.

Cons: Long shifts without breaks due to low staff numbers. Constant bombardment of incidents with a mountain of bureaucratic tasks to wrap up incidents. Promises of higher-level experience never materialize. Having to compete with fellow staff to get leave. Management blames staff for refusal to keep up with workload, even though they refuse to hire more and refuse to allow the use of higher-level skills to automate tasks. Management expects staff to be personal secretaries and dig up information for their own reports. Management constantly shouting and an overall culture of bullying. Management expects training of systems to be an "extra-curricular" activity on top of long shifts with no breaks. Not allowed so much as a bathroom break without telling someone.

Pros: Benefits and work-life balance

Cons: Technologically mature company. Much bespoke tooling limits career growth potential.
