Software Engineer (Internship) Interview Experience

Process

I applied through a referral and was contacted a week later to set up a phone interview.

During the phone interview with the hiring manager, we talked for 30 minutes about my resume and some projects I have worked on. I also got to ask him some questions. Make sure you are ready to talk about anything and everything on your resume.

The next step was a 30-minute technical interview with a developer. We used Google Meet, and I was asked to code on a shared document. Know basic data structures and algorithms and how to analyze runtime. Practice using LeetCode easy/medium problems.

After the technical interview, I got to talk to the developer about some of the stuff he was working on, and he answered some questions I had about the position. I was contacted through email later that week with an offer.

The recruiter and everyone involved in the interview process for me were very quick about getting back to me. Overall, a very positive experience.

Questions
