Salesforce approached me for an interview via LinkedIn.

A recruiter offered me a choice between two roles: Solution Architect for Service Cloud or Technical Architect.

I applied for the Technical Architect position. My initial experience with the recruiters was very pleasant.

After applying, I was contacted by another recruiter. Both recruiters attempted to schedule my subsequent interviews, neither of whom was aware of the other's involvement. This made the process quite confusing. They repeatedly asked me about my progress and whether I understood the interview process at Salesforce. Eventually, they resolved the confusion.

I attended two interviews, each with a single interviewer. They were not conducted in a meeting format, which I would have preferred.

During the technical interview, I felt the interviewer expected verbatim answers or specific keywords that aligned with his pre-formed expectations. While he was genuinely warm and positive, I experienced communication challenges.

I felt fortunate to have secured the interview. I did not perform as well as I could have, due to long hours at my current job, and the interview questions differed from my day-to-day responsibilities. Despite this, I understood the concepts very well. The technical questions felt outdated compared to those I typically encounter on the job.

The second interview was more business-oriented. In my experience, these interviews generally follow a pattern of "tell me about a time when..." questions.
