Process

The hiring process was supposed to be completed in 4 interviews; I had 3.

First Interview (Day One) A very pleasant conversation with a Salesforce Senior Recruiter. They discussed the company and its history, asked about your confidence in the proposed job, your salary expectations for the position, and any questions you had regarding Salesforce.

Second Interview (37 days later) As I had no update and no clear view of my case's progress, I sent an email to remind them. Immediately after, I was scheduled for a general technical interview. It wasn't specifically related to Salesforce but covered general CRM technical aspects to evaluate my fit for the position.

Third Interview (8 days later) Following the success of the second interview, I was scheduled for a quick chat with the Service Consulting Director. This was a brief meeting with questions about your previous experiences. However, this interview was delayed by the Director himself. Furthermore, the Director was an hour late for the "delayed" interview without any prior notice. Finally, I received the call during dinner time. Very convenient!

Fourth Interview (26 days later) Again, I had no update and no clear view of my case's progress, so I sent an email to remind them. The final interview was supposed to be a group/panel session at their main office, evaluating you in a simulated face-to-face customer relationship. However, before this final interview, I received a call informing me they would not proceed with my case. They stated they had acquired a consulting company of 80 people in Paris, and the position was no longer being offered. Curiously, at the time of writing this, the position was still listed on the job offers for Paris. What kind of management is this? Speaking of which, cancelling my hiring process is odd, considering I was a perfect fit for the job. I worked at Oracle for 10 years in their CRM division, plus another 10 years as a Microsoft subcontractor. There was no clear explanation or relevant reason to disqualify me.

Overall This interview process was a total waste of time. During this extended hiring process, I refused two other opportunities. I believed in Salesforce. Now, I no longer believe in them at all.
