At least in my BU, people are extremely helpful and truly care about each other. You will have tons of support and resources.
Benefits are amazing (compared to smaller companies I have worked at).
A very welcoming and inclusive environment.
On large calls, Management is spending as much time on equality issues (BLM, Stop Asian Hate, LGBTQ, or whatever is making headlines that week/month).
Firstly, it's too much time on the subject, and secondly, it seems like it's "Flavor of the day" Equality. I would rather spend the time learning about work-related topics. I am involved in equality learning and action outside of work.
It's extremely hard at first to find resources internally when you have problems to solve; there is so much information available. After a year or so...
Simplify internal content management. Spend a bit less time on Social Issues on internal calls.
A detailed, extensive, and thorough experience. I enjoyed every step of the way to get to know my future colleagues. The process consisted of phone calls and video chats due to the coronavirus.
A couple of initial information phone calls were followed by phone interviews with peers and managers to assess my fit for the role. Then, an in-person panel interview was scheduled, where I presented some of my previously created material 'in role'
A constructive, respectful, and energizing experience. There was a consistent feeling that the interviewers truly wanted to know who you are and what you can bring to the company and its clients.
