Generous in many ways, enlightened leadership
Leadership acknowledges the value of remote work and doesn't demand going into the office if it's not important to a role. Salesforce tries to be a positive corporate model, and I'm unaware of any questionable practices. There's unquestionable commitment to cloud software as the future, which lets IT departments get back to core competencies rather than managing hardware.
They just laid me off! Though I did get a nice severance package, I would have preferred to stay employed there.
There are dead-end roles, meaning there is an end of trail to some career paths.
