Pros

A company with big resources that cares about diversity and sustainability initiatives.

Good work/life balance.

The existing Tableau Community is inspiring.

The Tableau Product is cool.

Cons

Budget cuts are bizarre given profits (e.g., no morale/activity budget).

Initiatives come in that derail short-term planning (e.g., compliance with no notice, 3-week deadlines).

There's lots of training that feels very irrelevant, and too many all-hands meetings.

Advice to Management

Think harder on the intersection of Tableau and Salesforce.

Obviously, we're one company/family, but a lot of irrelevant training and un-plannable objectives makes for a frustrating experience.

Of course, there will be pains as part of an acquisition, but it's really hard to buy into the company when it feels like a lack of empathy from the top.
