I applied online to a firmware intern position and they got back to me two weeks later telling me to fill out availability on a calendar. They were only doing interviews on Monday and Tuesday.
I filled out the calendar on a Friday with my times for the next four to five weeks and they got back to me the following Monday at 10 p.m. saying my interview was the next day at 11 a.m.
In my opinion, I don't think that this is good management if they are only giving 13-hour notices for interviews. I just so happened to check my email at 10 a.m. during class that day, but I was still a bit pissed because I could not prepare for the interview at all.
The interview itself was very easy: creating classes on CoderPad in a language of your choice. But, I failed because I could not remember some syntax since they gave me no time to prepare. My interviewer was very nice though, and the interview itself was interesting because he told me what Samsara does.
