I started with a technical phone screen. It was the same question as has been posted here before.
I was passed around through three recruiters before being scheduled for an onsite. They don't reply to emails.
The onsite consisted of four rounds:
Questions were the same as those that have been posted here thus far. The engineers were really great and friendly; I would have loved to work with them. They were really friendly and sharp, and we had some awesome conversations.
Two days passed, and a fourth recruiter reached out. They said they'd love to have me, but don't have space for me right now. They advised me to wait two weeks to six months if leadership figures out the budget, as they hired too many people in too short a time.
I received the rejection email two weeks later. The recruiting team is an abysmal representation of the engineering excellence the company embodies. Applying is a stressful process generally, and this recruiting team makes sure to raise your hopes up with false promises so they can drop you harder.
Go into this with no expectations and wait for the full sentence after 'We'd love to have you.'
