Declining growth opportunities/slower moving as the company gets bigger.
Declining employee happiness/engagement.
A lot of aggressive deadlines and burnout is common. Everyone is always heads down working all the time (even pre-COVID).
Need to start managing politics/image if you want to grow your career.
Employees viewed as replaceable – just extra bodies to hit deadlines.
Treat your engineers like more than expendable resources.
