FREE BUS: So that you can come to the office in time, as they cut salary if you are late.
FREE FOOD: So that you can work late
Difficult to find pros.
WORST COMPANY EVER.
My manager forced me to stay until the 7:30 bus. He set up a meeting at 5:30 so that I wouldn't go by the early bus.
Koreans are treated like GOD. Even my manager said a software engineer from Korea is bigger than a manager here. I never agreed with him.
Partiality between Korean and Indian. In the Noida office, there's a separate mess for Koreans. It's like Indians and dogs are not allowed, making us feel like the old bad times before independence.
You can't sit for a long time in the canteen, don't roam outside. If they find you doing so, your manager sets up a one-on-one meeting.
They have boring IDEA meetings where they force you to give new ideas/patents.
If they want to layoff, they fire people by giving bad ratings so that they don't have to pay extra compensation. Very unethical behavior.
Big salary structure difference. Sometimes freshers have more salary than you.
I left Samsung in 8 months.
There are many more cons...
For Indian managements: Stop becoming puppets of Koreans.
It was a simple and straightforward process which took around a day to complete. I had roughly four rounds of interviews. I was tested on technical skills, professional skills, and IQ-based questions. The process was a bit slow but executed well.
3 Rounds of interviews: * 2 Coding rounds * 1 System design This process occurs over multiple days. Internal Pro-level proficiency is needed. Prepare via LeetCode coding. Watch YouTube for system design. Combined, these should be good.
One written round was followed by one technical round, which was not more than 30 minutes. After that, there was one HR round, which was very casual. The overall process was completed in 1 hour and 30 minutes.
