Time passes, and you can visit Korea on company sponsorship. Jeju is the place that must be visited.
Waste of a career. A fully Korean company hires foreign employees to enhance their skill sets but doesn't share what or how they are doing. All meetings and documents come in Korean, forcing people to learn Korean, but they don't want to change. Huge racism. Foreign employees don't have career growth. Korean colleagues steal your designs and take credit, and if an issue arises, they place the blame on you. All Koreans favor their local employees, even if they know they are wrong. They only hire to get a sense of other companies' work but don't share their own. They don't share documents related to your work, offer no support, and only keep you on junk mail CC lists.
Don't hire foreign employees in Korea.

Spent 4 hours coding a few programming problems. Discussed algorithms, approach, and complexity. Was interviewed by two algorithm experts. Had a choice in which language to write the code. It was a mix of whiteboard and real coding.
