Good products, but lousy culture in China
Senior Packaging Development Engineer • Former Employee
Shanghai, Shanghai
August 30, 2016
Pros: Good products and technology; decent salary and stock options.
Cons: A very pushy but unreasonably pushy culture, sometimes in chaos. And in packaging R&D you are not respected by your big boss. He even abuses lousy words that shatter your self-esteem. I believe he can only do so in China because if it is in the West, he will be sued.

Pros: Nice culture and a good workplace that gives an opportunity to take initiatives.
Cons: Cafeteria food needs to improve. Hardly any events apart from work related. Needs better employee benefits, and slow moving teams.
