I had my online exam on December 19th. Then, I was called for an interview at SAP Labs Bangalore on January 12th, 2012. The SAP campus is awesome.
The first round was a 1:1 technical interview. The manager joined in between the technical round and asked managerial questions. The technical questions were basic, covering C, C++, OOPS, databases, project details, and any real-life software development experience.
The next round was completely a manager round. The manager asked questions like, "Where do you want to see yourself in two years?" and "How will you manage yourself in a group where one person doesn't like you?" – all those kinds of questions.
The last round was with HR. The HR was a senior member, and I guess the Vice President of the company. They asked general questions about family, hobbies, why SAP, dream companies, long-term goals, and what I want to improve in myself, etc.
Finally, all rounds were over, and the HR called me inside a panel and said, "Congratulations, we offer you a role in our company." I got a confirmation email the next day. I am waiting for the offer letter now. Hopefully, it will be soon.
How would you manage a person with more experience than you who is working under you?
