The interview process consisted of:
Interviewers were very polite and helpful. The technical and managerial interview process was excellent.
Technical rounds (1, 2, and 4) were completely technical and lasted about 1 to 1.5 hours each. The managerial round involved behavioral questions and some coding.
Everything went well until the HR round. I had an excellent offer in hand but was still looking forward to this offer due to the work-life balance at SAP. Initially, the offer was in process.
However, SAP was adamant about knowing details of the offer I had in hand, including organization details. I did not share this information. A week later, HR informed me that the position had gone on hold.
I expected SAP to be transparent with the process and not aggressively push for my present offer's organization details, especially after I mentioned that salary was not a constraint.
I am extremely disappointed after an excellent technical and managerial interview process.
