Full Stack Developer Interview Experience - Vancouver, Canada

July 1, 2022
Negative ExperienceNo Offer

Process

I started by telling them a little about myself and moved on to four coding questions.

The first was a code review, where I was asked about the issues with a code sample and any additions I would make.

After this, there were some promise questions, followed by a LeetCode-style coding question, and finally a design question.

After three weeks of waiting, I assume I've been ghosted.

Questions

Given two version numbers in the form x.x.x, etc., write a function that returns:

  • -1 if the first version is greater
  • 1 if the second version is greater
  • 0 if they are the same.

The version numbers can be different lengths, but extra zeros should be ignored. For example, 1.0.0 is equal to 1.0.
