After applying on LinkedIn, a recruiter from the SFO office contacted me and scheduled a phone screen.
The phone interview was about 30 minutes long. The questions covered transaction management, UML, and OOPS concepts.
They were not very difficult. Initially, I received feedback that they would not be proceeding further. Then, suddenly, after two weeks, the recruiter contacted me again to say they wanted me to attend an in-person interview.
No interviewer names or an agenda were provided.
At the in-person interview, they made me wait an extra 15 minutes, citing that the interviewers were in a meeting. During the interview, the interviewers were very particular about UML symbols in class diagrams and drawing Entity-Relationship diagrams for database design. I felt they were still very much in an old-school mode of software development.
How do you represent inheritance in a UML diagram?
Draw an ER diagram for tables in a music collection database.
