I received a call from the Philippines to schedule an interview. I was given a date, along with the local HR representative's and interviewer's names.

Despite repeated attempts, the local HR wouldn't respond to my emails. I visited the Whitefield campus and spoke with an architect from the hiring group. He only inquired about my experience in cloud analytics and microservices. He didn't ask any challenging questions.

At the end, he asked me the reason for my job change. There is a serious lack of understanding among many interviewers. What business does an individual contributor have asking that? Let the hiring manager or HR ask it.

Anyway, the interview concluded after an hour. I was told to leave and that HR would contact me later. The HR didn't contact me at all, not even to convey that I was not shortlisted. Ideally, they should inform candidates and share the reason for rejection. A candidate spends time and effort, and adjusts their schedule to attend an interview, and the organization doesn't even show professional courtesy to close the loop.

Finally, I sent a strong email requesting feedback. The HR responded, stating that the feedback was already mailed to me. However, I never received any mail. If an email was indeed sent, she could have forwarded it to prove her point.

The baseline is that the HR's behavior was highly unprofessional, lacking basic etiquette and professional conduct.

I still stand by my request: Where is the feedback? On what basis did you reject me? It is my right to know. You just wasted my time.

Nothing worthy to mention. All generic, like "explain your product," etc.
