Process

SAP Labs visited our VESIT, Mumbai on January 17th.

First, there was an online aptitude test that comprised of three sections:

  1. General Aptitude (Quant, Verbal & Logical) - Quite easy
  2. Advanced Computer Skills - Not too tough, basic tech questions
  3. Data Structure Questions (BST, AVL Trees, B, B+ Trees, etc.)

Twenty students cleared the aptitude test out of nearly 100.

Then, there were two (or three) rounds of technical interviews.

They covered almost everything in the technical interviews: Database, Data Structures, (C/C++/Java) questions, OS, Networks, etc., in the first technical round. Sixteen students cleared this round.

The second technical round was mostly on BE projects or other projects listed on the resume. Ten students cleared this round.

The third technical round (mine) focused on Database Schemas, Queries, Normalization, etc. Only two students faced this round.

Then came a managerial round. A scenario of work scheduling was given. Eight out of ten students cleared this round.

Finally, the HR round. This seemed to be just a formality. Seven students cleared this round.

All seven students were from the Information Technology branch, and I was one of them.

Questions

None. Quite technical and detailed, but expected questions.
