Process

Had two rounds of phone interviews covering basic Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and testing-related questions. Candidates were asked to devise test cases for the following scenarios:

  • Reverse a string
  • Quick sort
  • Shortest path in a Binary Search Tree (BST)
  • Linux questions
  • SQL questions on joins, triggers, and cursors
  • Agile process
  • Difference between a process and a thread
  • Severity vs. priority

This was followed by a behavioral round. There was no flexibility on the offered salary; no adjustment of even plus or minus 3k was accepted.
