Good benefits. Relatively few layoffs during my time, which overlapped with big changes and a global pandemic. A comfortable place to work if you are looking for a long-term home. Most people are nice to work with.
Was re-orged multiple times as the company made significant directional changes. It still feels like there are too many silos and many job functions where people stay narrowly in their lanes.
Innovation and 'telling it like it is' feels foreign. Leadership decisions at all levels feel like cautious baby steps, with limited opportunity for entrepreneurial employees to shine outside of fringe/niche roles.
The recruiter called for a 30-minute phone screen. After two days, a phone screen meeting with the hiring manager was scheduled. Then, after seven days, a virtual interview with two interviewers for coding tests was scheduled.
There were 4 rounds. The first was an online test with basic programming skill questions. The second round was a face-to-face interview focusing on data structure questions. The third round covered architecture, and the fourth was an HR interview.
It was a wonderful experience with them. Very straightforward and no politics, unlike other companies. HR was excellent, and even the technical team was good. I had a good time. Positive feedback on the interview.
