I appreciate the amount of work they put into the SAP ecosystem. It's something.
What I do not and will not appreciate about it is the piece of trash that came out of their idea. As a developer, you better feel suicidal if you think about starting to work with the biggest disaster of a programming language. The language is locked down on its own kernel, so you can only do what they want you to do. Furthermore, the libraries of functions they put at your disposal may work under some conditions, but you will never know that because they are not documented anywhere. The only documentation you will find are the indians on forums. It's a straight-up joke. Some of the most commonly used functions are not even working properly, risking you ending up spending a day or two finding an alternative. SAP is aware of their "amazing" work, which is why they are pushing their Cloud agenda so hard at every opportunity. They want everybody to ditch ABAP forever and rely on other programming languages made by people who know what they are doing. Pathetic.
Stop doing everything for profit. When people get tired of this, the fall will hit so hard. SAP will become that thing we all struggled with like nomads back in the days.
The first interview with the team lead and a team member was mainly about system design. I passed it. The second interview was with some team members and focused on HTML and CSS. I found out that I did not pass only after checking their website; no
Relaxed atmosphere. Two interlocutors. Discussion about completed projects. Short Q&A session in English. The advertised position was explained in more detail. There was a small task to solve, which involved improving poorly written JavaScript code.
The first one is a phone interview, where they will ask you questions about your resume. They will also ask some questions about JavaScript. The second one is a coding project. They will ask you to build an HTML page with specific requirements. The
