Good company, but strategy is a mess
I feel appreciated and valued as an employee. SAP has great products and a solid customer base.
The strategy changes very often, which leads to constant migrations and demotivation. Teams cannot invest in the features that customers want because they have to constantly migrate from one platform to another.
Take a decision and stick to it. The strategy of hyperscalers is clearly wrong or incomplete. It makes sense to get commodity services from hyperscalers, but expecting that every team operates them and consumes them from URLs exposed to the internet is clearly not the smartest move. So, why wait another three months to change the strategy again?
