Pros
  • Many perks including a lunch card (taxable income) and a gym on site.
  • Other coworkers are often nice people.
Cons

Culture of complacency. Management is on an aggressive delivery schedule, and that trickles down to employees. However, compensation and employee treatment are not nearly at a level where employees feel like they will be rewarded for working hard.

Salary is comparatively low in relation to similar companies.

No room for growth, either career-wise or salary-wise. Starting salary is reasonable, but does not grow very much down the line (think logarithmic growth).

Advice to Management

Think about your devs before you make aggressive decisions to push code or move people around in different roles. Making a lasting impression out of one instance of work will not help anyone and will ultimately result in a worse product.

In a time where SAP is losing to Tableau in the data analytics marketplace, underestimating senior developers and forcing interns to adhere to aggressive delivery schedules will merely result in an inferior product.
