Salary for senior positions is OK, but not enough to keep you happy and totally off the market. Entry and mid-level positions have low salaries, which is not attractive for new talent. The meal ticket is very low and not enough to pay for a meal in most places. The medical insurance is expensive, requiring full price payment for dependents.

You should work to raise your salary and benefits to an excellent level. Otherwise, it is very hard to attract and keep good people. As good as the company is, in the end, people need money to pay their bills. Do your part and start paying good salaries for Portugal employees.
