Pros

Good work/life balance, recent move to more modern development technologies.

Cons

Renovating the office to an open office plan is unfortunate and very disappointing. As further research shows clear issues with these styles of office, it's clear the company just wants to cut costs, even if it's at the expense of employee health and productivity. This is compounded by local management that resists the company's more global push to allow employees to work from home.

Advice to Management

As it seems the company is unfortunately committed to open offices to reduce costs, the local managers need to embrace the company's willingness to let employees work from home more often.
