Pros

Great in terms of work-life balance.

22 + number of years in company = total annual leave, sick leave, examination leave.

Work from home (though it is difficult to get approved).

Good benefits for women (maternity leave, individual transport during pregnancy, extended maternity).

Relatively transparent communication, except in some departments.

Cons

Chances of growth are rare.

Learnability is very limited unless you can have access to information from people at a higher level. One keeps on working on the same thing for years.

Salaries are scarce.

Benefits are going down (transportation is now paid; it was free earlier).

No travel opportunities.

Performance review ratings are often predecided between managers in a department, even before the review of employees starts.

All in all, a great company if you are at a management level, with excellent benefits. But if you are at a junior level, chances of growth are minimum.

Advice to Management

Stop reorganizing. Salaries should match SAP standard across the world, and inflation in a country should be taken into consideration. SAP is no longer a premier employer; salaries are below average.
