Some monetary benefits.
Basically nice colleagues.
At SAP, there's a horde of blowhards. They know no humility, have lost all touch with reality, and possess no human principles.
The once dynamic company has evolved into a hierarchical monster. Opportunities for advancement are very slim.
HR has no idea how to foster or even search for/find talent. SAP harbors a multitude of incredibly incompetent managers who can neither formulate an idea nor connect with people. The worst part: they never have the courage to set a direction for fear that someone might not find that direction acceptable.
Macht talentierte Manager zu Managern, nicht talentierte Entwickler. Ich kenne kaum einen Manager bei SAP, der gut kommunizieren kann. Ein verlorenes Talent.
Initial recruiter call. Tech call with the lead engineer for an hour. Behavioral with manager, VP, and principal. Final tech call. All together, 7 rounds with 7 people. They mention they are preparing an offer initially, and then after a few days,
It was as easy as it is. The easiest interview I have attended so far.
Telephonic interview followed by a couple of rounds of face-to-face interviews. Interviewer was good and friendly. Interview questions were simple, and one can easily crack them if prepared well. It took 3 days to get the offer.
