Pros: - Smart and hardworking people - Many opportunities to work on high visibility, and mission critical projects - The company is getting large, but the scrappiness and passion are still very much alive - The company is doing really well and is not that affected by the current market downturn

Cons: - WLB is not comparable to FAANG (40 hours on normal weeks, more when there are important deadlines) though engineering/product is somewhat shielded from the worst. RIP ops. - Management/leadership can be quite junior/green, though external hiring has helped a lot recently. - Priorities shift a lot and very quickly, so be prepared to switch gears fast.

Pros: They are the picks and shovels of AI data, which means that you can see what everyone else is actually doing with AI. Amazing marketing and connections in the industry.

Cons: Terrible turnover and work life balance. Management is not leadership. They are there to give you overwhelming orders and change your priorities. That is why one of their core values is "Run through walls". Their strategy is to chase every shiny object in AI and rebrand their data labeling capabilities around that. Advancement is not based on abilities and performance versus becoming part of the inner circle who are only in it for themselves. And now the Govt is a HUGE focus of their business, so make sure that you are ok with that.
