Associate Software Development Engineer Interview Experience - Seattle, Washington

Process

I applied online and received an email the next day for the 1:1 interview the following week.

The 1:1 interview was easy, with behavioral questions and questions based on my resume.

I received the invitation for a 4-hour technical interview the following week. The interview with four people included all technical questions about OOD, Binary Search Tree, LinkedList, and Design Patterns.

One of the interviewers was quite rude; he tried to ignore my approach to the solution and sat on his chair working on his laptop.

Questions

Given a Binary Search Tree (BST), write the function to return all nodes that are at a given distance from a specified node. The function signature should be findNodes(root, targetNode, distance).
