Process

The hiring manager approached via LinkedIn.

A phone screening interview was scheduled for 45-55 minutes. The interviewer called late.

The next round was an onsite interview.

Onsite interview consisted of 4 rounds:

  • First round: Hiring Manager. The same questions were asked. Hopelessly, they asked for my resume. I assumed before the interview that people study your profile.
  • Second round: Software Engineers. This round featured one arrogant and one confused software engineer. The arrogant engineer asked, "Why did you apply for this post?!" (Suggested answer: "Dude, I didn't; your manager called me!") The confused engineer framed a technical question, then, as we discussed solutions, started imposing constraints.
  • Third round: Software Developers. Two decent software developers asked questions unrelated to my profile. My background is in data engineering, yet I was asked questions on REST.

Overall experience: Bad.
