The interview process at ServiceNow Hyderabad for a front-end (JavaScript) role took two weeks. I interviewed in January 2021.

The interview process consisted of five completely technical rounds:

• L1: Started with a coding challenge featuring two simple LeetCode-style programs executed in JavaScript.
• L2: Focused entirely on JavaScript, with slightly tricky questions related to core concepts. I was given small code snippets and asked to predict their output.
• L3: Involved discussions about my projects, roles, and system design concepts, such as Amazon's delivery flow and design patterns.
• L4: Centered on front-end frameworks, HTML basics, designing HTML mockups, and the logic required to solve a given problem statement.
• L5: Another coding test conducted by a software architect, this time with a complex problem statement. I attempted to explain my solution but could not achieve the expected output.

Overall, it was a good experience. In the L5 round, interviewer Chandra Pinjala was very polite and provided hints when I was going in the wrong direction with my logic. The interviews were nice overall, and I had a positive experience with the interviewers and HR representatives at ServiceNow.

Most of these problems can be solved if you thoroughly go through resources like GeeksforGeeks, LeetCode, etc.

I remembered the last question which I didn't give the right solution to.

Given the array orders, which represents the orders that customers have made in a restaurant. More specifically, orders[i]=[customerNamei, tableNumberi, foodItemi], where customerNamei is the name of the customer, tableNumberi is the table the customer is sitting at, and foodItemi is the item the customer orders.

Return the restaurant’s "display table". The "display table" is a table whose row entries denote how many of each food item each table ordered.

orders = [['name1','3','food1'],['name2','10','food2']...] input like this, with arrays inside an array.

Output will be [['Table', 'food1', ...], [table num, food order count, ...]...].
