The interview consists of three rounds: two technical and one managerial. I haven't received a response yet.
I cleared both technical rounds with good feedback. However, the managerial round was a negative experience. When I denied negotiating on CTC, the manager found a way to pull me down by asking unnecessary questions that were not even required for the job role or mentioned requirements. I didn't lose my cool, but he became rude and unprofessional, giving negative replies and lacking the patience to listen to my complete answers.
I may have negotiated on CTC if he had asked in a proper way, rather than just pulling down a candidate's confidence. He stated I have a "huge area of improvement"; if that is the truth, how did I clear two technical rounds?
Please check with your technical rounds panel and don't waste candidates' time.
